L's Freedom

Whoa, wasn't I terribly sentimental today?

I now feel really depressed with myself.

But I'll explain a little more about this short comic.

This is for the contest, to demonstrate the theme of 'L's freedom'. I guess the freedom in this is...
well. I thought about how Mello can't control his emotions at the best (or worst) of times, and he is often regarded as 'weak' for it. But if you bottle it all up, you don't feel free at all. I bet a lot of us long for the freedom to express ourselves, with no regrets.

I probably could have done a lot better on this. However, my scanner eliminated a lot of the shading, so I ended up making it digitally shaded instead and now it looks rather blank. I didn't even put that many effects on. Probably, because I was short for time.
